What just happened?!?! A quarter in the book and I was expecting a sweet romance and a great beach read. Just like that, the tables turned and I was mesmerized by the sister story in this novel. I’ve always felt strongly about stories that revolve around sisterhood. My heart was in my mouth the entire time and somehow as the last page came by and I had happy tears. It was just one of those books that touches your heart and leaves you with a sense of satisfaction.
The relationship between sisters is a sacred bond. The elder one always seems to be a mother hen and even when the younger one doesn’t show it, we love them with all our heart. All any sister wants is the other to be blissfully happy and never come across hardships. Somewhere in this beautiful journey, they forget to look after themselves and it’s often the other who takes it upon themselves to make their sibling realize to live their life.
In all, this book is a roller coaster of emotions. You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll squeal with surprise and you’ll be biting your nails because you’re anxious and don’t want the story to end. Thank you Libby Hubscher for this gem of a book!
